"We often participate in international food festivals abroad, usually done by friends of the embassy. Finally we join the festival of international cuisine in Thailand," said Director General for ASEAN Cooperation, Djauhari Oratmangun.

In addition to menus archipelago rich spices, this festival also serves cuisine from countries such as ASEAN and dialogue partners China, Japan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and India. Opened on this day, you can enjoy the culinary riches of the various countries at the food bazaar.

Not only that, there are still many events that await you on Saturday. Starting from an international food bazaar, cultural performances from several countries, until the chef cooking demos from Cambodia, China, Russia, and Italy.

On the day Sunday, September 18, you can enjoy the performing arts and cultures of Indonesia and other countries. The chefs also will demonstrate skill in preparing traditional seasonings ala their respective countries. Chef from Pakistan, Malaysia, Sweden, and Spain will demonstrate cooking skills.

Representatives of ICA (Indonesian Chef Association) will present the typical foods of the famous Indonesia in the eyes of the world. "We will present five dishes typical of Indonesia Indonesia is obliged to use seasonings such as garlic, onion, salmon and laos," said Chef Yonki Gunawan, coordinator (ICA).
